problem with the postgresql

hello. i am using win 7 64 bit. i am trying to install the program but its makes me all sorts of broblem... the crucial one is that when i click contineu installaition so it will install the posrgresql after a while he write me "service postgresql database server 8.3 faild to start. varify that you have sufficent privilegs to start system services". i tried evreything. run as administrator. disable firewall and windows security. nothing helps...

does anyone knows what to do?

Sometimes just disabling a firewall will not stop it from interfering - please check our Firewall Guide.

Do you see PostgreSQL in the services list? (Click Start and type "services")
What happens when you try to start it?
If it doesn't start check for PostgreSQL-related errors in the Event Viewer (click Start and type "event") - if there are any, what do they say?
