problem to install postgresql

problem to install postgresql

hello my pc crashed so i have to reinstall pt3 however i know some difficulties when i installed postgresql it doesnt work and i got message saying: pokerstraker has just expereinced a fatal error. ...attach the pokertrakerlig file and the crash log file c/user/win 7/potrakerv3.11.3 beta-_crash_20110812.log.

dont know what im supposed to do. need assistance

Did you reformat your computer and install PostgreSQL completely fresh, or did you try to reinstall PostgreSQL over an existing version?
If you reinstalled, did you fully uninstall PostgreSQL first, as described in the guide in the Documentation? Please try following that to set PostgreSQL up properly.

If you have a crash in PT3 please follow the Tutorial: Submitting a Bug Report to let us have your log files.

i reinstalled postgresql over an existing version.
I did install pt3 first then it just automatically asked me if i wanted pt3 to install postgresql.
I cliked on yes, it started well then at the almost end of that it suddenly stopped and rolled back because of one folder apparently.

In that case you will need to uninstall PostgreSQL and reinstall it - please follow the guide in the Documentation which takes you through the process. This will not lose your databases.
