I'm about to buy a new laptop. Can you say anything about recommended hardware to run smoothly?

I expect the minimum requirements to be a little higher for PT4 than they are for PT3 (because things move on and we're a few years further on now, and the current average computer is able to do more than it was at the release of PT3), but any new system should exceed the requirements and be able to cope well with light use.
If you're going to be multi-tabling with a very large database you will need to exceed the minimum requirements, but by how much really depends on your use.
Be sure to get a big, fast, hard drive - at least 7200 rpm - or even an SSD for even better performance, and plenty of RAM (if you're going to get Windows 7 especially get 8GB if you can) and a decent CPU. There are quite a few threads discussing specific systems and components in these forums so have a search.

How many tables do you tend to play?
How big is your database?

Hello, i have some questions:
1. Will PokerTraker 4 have built-in stats like 3-bet, fold to 3-bet, 4-bet....,etc,, fold-to-cbet, squeeze, etc.... ?
And these stats will built-in or we will have to build the stats ourselves from your built-in stats???
Will this stats (more common that the ones included in PT3), will be included in reports, and general data???
I think the build-in stats included in the PT3 are a little bit confusing and difficult to match with the more commonly used stats like c-bet, 3-bet, fold-to-cbet, fold-to-3b, squeeze, etc....

2. Will the HUD include the equity and ICM calculations to be displayed "live"????, or this stas will only be available after a sesion but not available in the HUD during the poker sessions???

3. During the design and developing phases of PT4 have you been in contact with poker rooms such as Pokerstars to be sure that all the functionalities you include will be allowed to be used from the poker room side???. For example if the ICM is included in the HUD it might get into problems with poker rooms and then finally they could not allow to use this tool while playing poker with pokerstars???. Have this been taken into account when developing the new features???

All of the PT3 stats will be in PT4 and more. All of the stats you mention are in PT3 by default as well.

There will be more reports, and new ways to show your data as well.

We will not add in any feature - ever - that would allow PokerTracker to become banned software. If a site needs more restrictions than other sites, we will add those restrictions (as we have for Cake, for example).

Not all the stats I mention you are shown by default in the Details report (first or second tab of the cash and tournament, I can't remember now, I have pokertracker at home, not here from where I write).
Maybe the Details report is configurable to display the stats that I need, but I can't remember if it is configurable.

You forgot to answer my second point:

2. Will the HUD include the equity and ICM calculations to be displayed "live"????, or this stas will only be available after a sesion but not available in the HUD during the poker sessions???

Thank you

You can configure the other reports to display the data you desire - use the small wrench icon at the top right of any report to configure it. The Details tab is not configurable, but you can see that data elsewhere (for example in the Player Statistics section of the General tab).

I don't have any information to share on the display of live data at this point in time.

We accidentally overlooked this question because we haven't release a video which shows our completed HUD yet, but I can confirm that live ICM calculations are not permitted at PokerStars, therefore it is not available as a live stat.
