SHIT my last post wasnt clear either. i checked it out by sitting down with players i knew i had 100s of hands with and seeing what happened when i played a few hands with them. i had 435 hands of data on a guy showing up in pokertrackers, sat down and played 5 hands with him and then pt showed 440 but the HUD just had the 5 hands.

In the Configure --> Configure Hud --> Hud Options window make sure you don't have "Show Stats from Current Session Only" checked.

checked that, its not checked. im not clear on any of this, so out of interest, if you were to manually import your own 'processed' dir you would get nothin but duplicates on the order of your hands played + hands observed, right ? would that normally be the way you integrate/import your database onto say a newly formatted box so the stats would show up in the HUD ? (because ive done it repeatedly)

Reimporting hands should just result in duplicates - meaning PT3 recognizes that data as already in the database and did not import it a second time.

ok ... any idea why the HUD wont display the data that appears to be already present and still auto importing into PT ?

I'm not certain but if you restart PT3 using the Logging Enabled link, reproduce and report the problem we'll investigate further for you.
