Have done most in of the stuff said in other posts, keep getting "Unable to connect to this database. Check to configuration." When PostgreSQL is about to start. Just downloaded the software on trial. Have tryd both current and beta version. Nothing works. Is running on win 7.

Try using the password:
postgrespass

and see if that works better.

Do you have PostgreSQL installed on your system?
What operating system are you using? Assuming it's Windows, click Start (on XP click Run) and type Services.msc - do you see PostgreSQL in the list of services? Can you start it?

So,what i forgot,is that i used to run pokerstrategy elephant....so version is 8.3,status running,run option is automatic....? Win7

Unfortunately I do not know what the default postgres password that Elephant uses is. However if you follow this tutorial it will remove the need for a password and anything you type will function.

tx for hte help, found out the elephant related postgresSQL password,works fine,impressive tool....1 more thing,if i understood correctly: trial version do not allows me to initiate a brand new stat layout for the HUD,i mean replace stats,colour them?

You can edit the HUD layout while in the trial - what you cannot do is create new statistics entirely.
