Unable to purge own sessions/observed hands

Databases will cope with many more hands than that, depending on your computer's specs.
However, if you're importing a lot of observed hands you may find something like this useful: Tutorial: Managing Multiple Databases

Ok Thanks for that,just confused that it says in there that there is no need for seperate dbs as PT3 will handle one large db,which is what I would lke but seems I cant have.

Finally dumb questiion maybe if the observed hands are in a seperate db,will they still show up in the HUD ok,or does this have to be configured someway.

Guess I'm busy for the day trying to sort all this out,just a shame purge doesnt work,would have been alot easier.

If I sound a tad upset,I am.

You tell me one db is ok,I try to trim its size to keep it manageable,I cant and now you ask me to create multiple dbs and start all over again.

Not ideal in my opinion

One large database does work fine, and purging shouldn't take that long. Please report your problem as I suggested by PM and your log file should let us see what is going on.

We give you the options for how to set up your databases so that you can choose the solution which best fits your volume of hands and the hardware you have, but what that set up is varies from person to person.

How are you purging? Are you purging a session or using the Advanced tab to purge using a filter? What criteria did you specify?
I just purged a session from a decent sized database and it was nearly instant, so please do let us have your log files so that we can see what is different for you.

Apologies for the rant,just frustrated,apologies once more..

Something is definately up as I'm not being able to expport sessions either to the new db I have created........

I was attempting to delete using the advanced filter ie over a period of days.....

Please give me clear instructions of which log files you need and where I find them and I will get them to you as soon as I can......

I'm a real numpty at finding files etc so sorry for the trouble but clear and precise instructionns are needed I'm afraid.
