HUD problem with beta9

Postby vonBrabant » Sun Apr 27, 2008 10:14 am

Hi,

I just downloaded and installed beta9, created a database with lots of SnG HandHistories and wanted to test the HUD.
I did;t find any detailed docs, but when I clicked on "Begin Auto Import" (PartyPoker), the disabled "Start Hud" button turned into an enabled "Stop Hud" button. So I guess that means Hud display is switched on !?

However, when I then started a table nothing happened ?? No HUD at all :-(
What could I be doing wrong ?

Yes, that means it should be switched on.

Do you get the pokertracker HUD icon on the table after opening it? If you do, choose configure and make sure that your database is selected in the Hud options and that the minimum hands required isn't set too high.

HUD icon ?
No ! As I said nothing at all happens !
Do I need to resize the table to a certain size ?
Do I have to sit and play at the table, or can I just watch a table?
What happens if none of the players in in my database ?
Could it be a problem that this is a tournament table ?

Any hints is welcomed,

Hmm, there should be a small PT icon on the table if it's working as intended. Is PT3 importing hands at the time? It's needed to recognise the tables.

At Party, you need to either be playing, or observing and using a hand-grabber such as FreePHG. The Party software itself will not write hand histories for observed tables.
You need to have hands importing into PT3 for the HUD to work.

I have the excact same problem.

I have PT3 running, and can see the hands ticking in - I also imported a bunch of hands from PT2, and the list in the tournament part shows 4200 players. But the HUD does not show. I started pokerstars MTT tourney before launching PT3 - is that a problem. I am running the Beta 9, but don't even see a config part for the HUD - where is this. The HUD button says "Stop HUD" and start automatically is checked. The import indication is animated.

What do I do next?

Is PT3 placing an icon at the top center of each table you are playing on?

No - there is no visual indication of any HUD.

New info: I just tried a cash table on Pokerstars, and there the HUD works fine, and I see the icon on the table, the stats for each player etc.

But my problem is regarding MTT, both 'standard' MTTs and multi-table sit'n'go MTTs. When I play these tourneys I see no HUD. The hands are imported correctly for the MTTs into PT3
