A few questions

Postby lostinadream2 » Fri Feb 03, 2012 3:03 pm

Hi,

I was wondering in the Tournament reports if there was a stat for $/hour. Also I was wondering if there was a multi-table report showing how much you win depending on the amount of tables you play. Thirdly, Is the tournament adjusted winnings correct? Because at the moment, Net won is +€9.38, ADJ is +€13.00. However in HEM1, the EV ADJ is +€22.85. Lastly, Is there a way of changing the colour of the ADJ winnings line as its too similar to the net winnings line.

Thanks,

Jamie

I don't see those Per Hour stats for tournaments at the moment - I'll make a note about adding them for a future release.

Grouping by time for tournaments is actually a little more complex than for Cash sessions - but I see that was overlooked as well. I'll make sure we look into adding some way to see that data.

The luck adjusted tournament winnings should be correct though there are some cases where we are looking into fixes - if you find any tournaments that individually don't look right to you please send us the hand histories via the support system so that we can investigate further for you.

Ok well there is obviously quite a big difference between hem1 and pt4 in calculating luck adjusted winnings, so one is wrong. I found a HUSNG where the following happened in last 2 hands of match.

AhJd (me, 1623c) vs 7c7s (villain, 1377c) - All-in pre flop. Villain wins.
8h6d (me, 246c) vs 9sAc (villain, 2754c) - All- pre flop. Villain wins.

These where the only all-in pre flop hands. In PT4 my Net won is -€3.50, and my €EV net is -€3.10. In HEM1 it is -€3.50, €EV net is €3.14. So I may be mistaken but isn't this telling me in PT4 I should have lost €3.10 of my initial buy-in but in HEM1 I should have only lost €0.36 of my initial buy-in? Obviously quite a big difference, and many of my other HUSNG's are different in terms of ev won in pt4 and hem.

p.s You didn't answer if there is a way of changing the colour of the graph lines? Or maybe making them thicker?

Thanks,
Jamie

I also wanted to know are there plans to be able to record rakeback and bonuses, like in HEM? Very useful, especially for tournament/sng players where rake is obviously exact.

Please attach the hand histories for those all-in hands to a Support Ticket so that we can check out your EV question. The way that the ICM value is calculated for tournaments is still being worked on, and I understand that heads-up tournaments will be getting some changes. Having more examples is always useful.

You can't configure the lines on graphs at the moment. This may be something we consider in the future, but I don't expect it in the short term as we have higher priority issues to deal with now.

Rakeback can be calculated with custom stats now - we'd like to be able to build something in for this but since there are many different rakeback deals for different sites I'm not sure how practical it will be to support this for all sites.

How would I go about creating a custom stat for rakeback? Also would it be possible to create one for a tournament $/Hour stat as well?

Creating rakeback for tournaments is a lot easier than My C Per Hour - I'll be looking into My C Per Hour and once I have a working version I'll gladly post it here for you.

To build Rakeback click Configure --> Statistics, make sure you're in the Tournament Players areas and find the My Currency Fee statistic. Click on it and click the Duplicate button. Change the Description as necessary and on the Definition tab change Name, Title and Description as you'd like. For the value expression multiply amt_fee_curr_conv by your rakeback percentage (e.g. amt_fee_curr_conv * .30 would be 30% rakeback). Save the stat. You can now add this on the graph.

If you want to see amount won + rakeback, instead make the value expression:
var_amt_net_curr_conv + amt_fee_curr_conv * .30

(again for 30% rakeback, but you can change .30 as you need)

Ok thanks alot for your help it works well. I was thinking though, with some sites the rakeback % changes now and again, so what would I do if that occurred?

That's going to be harder as you'd need to use a more complex column to build your historical rakeback (unless you want to just change your stat which would obviously be an option).
