Delete Database

Postby Dilas » Mon Feb 13, 2012 9:55 am

How can I delete a database ?

Selecting the database and delete it does obviously not work.

If I want to creat a new database with the same name its said: "this database allready exists"

I want to clean my installation from all databases and create only 1 new database with all of my hands.
I exported my hands and will import them into 1 new database after deleting the old ones.

Create a new database naming it anything else and set it as active and default from the Database Management window.

Restart PT3, then in the database management window you will be able to delete your old database.

NOTE: Database deletion is PERMANENT and that data will not be recoverable. Be absolutely certain you want to do this before you do.
