I know how to copy files to a disk, but how do you copy just the database to the disk? I mean, I don't want to copy Poker Tracker, just the postgrel database, right? I have Windows XP.

PostgreSQL doesn't store your database in a single file. You'll need to do a dump of the database to back it up. I suggest posting in the PostgreSQL section of the forum here and you'll get detailed instructions on how to do that.

I'm switching from Poker Office. I have used PokerTracker 3 Beta 9, and now I'm ready to download version 10.

I have read the various questions in this thread, but I'm just not getting the whole picture. I started using PokerTracker 3 Beta the day after version 9 came out. Before that, I used Poker Office. I play only tournaments, and only on PokerStars.

Now that beta 10 is here, I'm not quite sure what to do. I would like a step-by-step, but since everyone's situation is different, I guess that's not possible, so I'll just ask a series of questions.

1. I have set PokerStars to send requests for hand and tournament histories to my POP E-mail. I'm still importing them into Poker Office, because it makes no sense to do copy-and-paste importing to PokerTracker, if I can at some point import all of them at once from Poker Office. Can I do that now, and if not, will that capablilty be coming soon?

2. Is PokerTracker close to being able to retrieve hand/tournament histories from POP3 mail?

3. I feel stupid asking this one, but how do I start the HUD? Since it's integrated, I don't think I need a separate downland, but I don't see anything in beta 9 for starting it up, and the Stox Poker video doesn't cover it. I keep thinking this should be obvious, since others are using the HUD, but I can't figure it out.

4. Do I need to download beta 10 with the new database, or without? Someone already asked the database question in this thread, but in my situation, with Poker Office, PokerTracker Beta 9, and PokerStars all in the mix here, it's a little confusing as to what to do, and in what order.

1 & 2. I hoped to have the email import functionality available for initial commercial release, but I don't think I'll have time. It should be available shortly after though.
3. You just need to start auto-import and sit down and start playing. PT3 will recognize your table and put the Hud on it.

Please have in mind SSL when making the results importer module from email. It's essential for accounts like Gmail for instance and PokerOffice does not support it now.

The "Call preflop raise" stat is still not accurate as far as I have noticed.
It's waaay too high.

Will this be fixed in beta 11 by any chance, cause IMO it's a very important stat (for HU play).

Also, when you click on the stats to get the popup open, the popup only opens going below your mouse. So lets say I want to see the popup of a guy on my bottom table and the guy is on the bottom place of the table, the popup opens, but goes directly out of my screen (so I can only see 2 lines of popup stats). Is there a way that like the with the old PAH, the popup opens and makes sure it is fully in screen (so that it will open above your mouse pointer if it doesn't fit below it). Sorry for the kind of bad explanation, but I have no idea how to describe it better.

If you can pinpoint a hand that PT3 has as calling a preflop raise incorrectly, please let us know.

Popups can be moved by right-clicking and dragging. I will be fixing the problem where it appears slightly off screen.

I've tried creating a new DB twice.. doesn't seem to fix

Edit: nevermind auto import window had a different DB selected than the "active and default" in database management

I tried to configure the part under Sessions->Sessions Hands->select a random hand. When I want to configure that part, I can't select "Call preflop raise" from the stats. So I don't know if PT3 thinks a preflop call has happened.

Can I check that stat somewhere else?

You should be able to do this using Filters - click Filters, then Actions tab, and on Preflop you should see "Call Raise".

Josh, for example this hand gets seen as a preflop call. So apparently 3bets are also seen as preflop calls, weird.

For some reason player stats in my HUD are disappearing and coming back randomly. Suddenly stats for some player are gone. Sometimes they come back after few hands and sometimes they don't. Resetting HUD shows every player stats until they disappear again. Playing Stars 6 max and using preferred seating.

This also seems to count as a call preflop raise, like I said before 3bets are being seen as calls preflop, but what about the call I made on his 3bet. Should that only count as call 3 bet (which I think it should) or should it count as both call preflop raise and call 3 bet?

On side note, it seems that when I apply a filter and select Apply->Ok, it takes me back to my stats, but it keep loading the hands. When I select another playername and switch back to my playername, it shows the filtered stats within a sec. So it seems like it doesnt refresh too well when applying a filter. Should I manaully refresh, or is this some kind of bug?
