With Party you need to use their Java version that you can play via your web browser.

Regarding Stars, are the hands showing up in PT3 properly?

party looks good in java. what is the disadvantage compared to a normal downloaded program?
the hud and things do work with the java version?

no, pt doesnt recognise any players/hands or any info. no input visible besides the recognition of the tables it shoud track.

On Mac the download version of the software is still pretty new and the hand histories it writes don't match the "normal" format so PT3 can't import them. As far as I'm aware the java version is pretty well full-featured.

Are the hand histories being written as you play?
I tested this on my Mac yesterday and on Lion I needed to disable the 'save hand histories' option in the Party client (Table Options > Advanced) and then re-enable it and save changes in order for the hands to start saving.
Once you've done that and the hands are being saved they should import to PT3, but you may need to configure the hand history folder yourself by clicking the Add button in Auto Import > Party Poker Configuration. The hands should be written to /Applications/PartyGaming/PartyPoker/HandHistory.

Please make sure that PokerStars is set to save hand histories and that PT3 is set to import them properly as described in our PokerStars Configuration Guide.
