Problems installing SQL

Postby laupita » Thu Mar 08, 2012 10:54 pm

Hi people

I received my new computer and i tried to install PT3 with the 3.11 version, however, after i install PT, it ask me to download SQL and i think there is somthing wrong, because it was supposed to download 2 files... but its been over 1 hour and the 2nd file isnt downloaded

Is it a problem with my connection? However, it is working fine, probably a little slow, but its working properly.

What should i do?

The download speed will depend on your internet connection of course, but I wouldn't expect it to take that long unless you have a slow connection.
Hopefully it will have finished and set things up for you by now, but if not you can try running PT3 again and if the first PostgreSQL installation didn't complete then it should try again.

In that case I'll give you a direct link - that can work better. The process isn't automated by us in that case but it will work. Do you have a 64 bit machine? It affects which version I'd recommend.

Ty very much kraada... i did the following, i uninstalled the 3.10 version and installed the new 3.11 version. I also change the settings on the "Users Accounts" panel as PT requires to, and everything went fine from there

Best regards
