Pat, I have rebuilt with the link you sent, and I'm still getting the virus alert. I understand I shouldn't be worried about a trojan, but actually what concerns me is that at first it was showing up in pokertracker2.exe and similar files... now it's coming back as "C:\System Volume Information\_restore{32CD6502-AD76-43FD-8F81-296C0A2818ED}\RP89\A0016380.exe." I don't know much about file extensions, so maybe someone can reassure me?

I don't know what this file would be. It's an executable file but I don't know what it's for, it's not a PT file. When do you get this message, when trying to run/open PT?

Yes. I think I'll just delete it and then go from there.

i had this just pop up today, not sure when i installed the patch, but it wasnt today, i DLed and installed the patch again, and it didnt help, so i let avg do what it does to the file and i DLed the complete PT instead of patch, and i no longer get the trojan warning, but it screwed up my database or something, because now pahud wont track new hands (looks like PT was importing them), and everytime i tell PT to get HHs, it ask to use access database or sql, i pick sql because i don't use access, never asked before.

oh, well i just DLed PT3 and ill use that instead since it has HUD now., i screwed with PT2 forever trying to get hud to work today, i gave up.

THE FILE ON THE DOWNLOAD PAGE IS NOT INFECTED! I wish people would stop saying this because it's not true.

The problem is, it's your word against an increasing number of AV program.

People are taught rightly (to an extent) to put faith in their AV program, don't turn it off, etc. It's easy convincing people that a particular program is giving false positive, but not when more and more is detecting it.
