Upgrade PT3 to PT4beta

Hey guys,

i just requested a key code for pt4 beta and i have it in my account with my pt3 code. How do I try the PT4 beta? I assume i have to put the code somewhere? Once its done, can i revert back to PT3? Is hand history affected in any way?

Download the PT4 beta here and install it. Use your code in it and go through our new Setup Assistant - it will get everything started for you.

PT4 is an entirely separate application from PT3, so you can have them both running side by side without any problems. The PT4 Setup Assistant will bring all of your settings over from PT3 - we try to make these things as easy on you as we can!

Aha, i see that there is no version of PT4 beta available for mac yet... And i read that a full pt4 mac version will be released after the pt4 windows version. How much later? Now im afraid that im gonna be waiting forever for the mac version of pt4!

We aim to have the Mac version available a few months after the commercial release, but I can't guarantee that of course. We are developing with the Mac version in mind, though, so it shouldn't take too long.

Ok thats good to know but still, I was hoping to be able to get my hands on the PT4 mac version as soon as windows users would. Oh well...
