Still Unable to Get Beta 10 to Work

Still having a problem getting beta 10 to work.

-Only data I have is from Stars.
-Created a new db for old hh's and imported
-Designated new db as both active and default
-Changed import played and observed hands to current active db. Processed files still pointed toward c/ProgramFiles/Pokertracker3/Processed
-Changed HUD configuration to read from new db
-Whenever I start auto import, the same 543 HH’s are imported and then my duplicate counter starts ticking off hands ending up showing virtually all of my 14,300 hh’s as dupes. This happens whether or not I am connected to Stars and repeats itself after I reboot the PT3 software.
-No messages are appearing
-Tried going to Start – Programs – Postgres-Start Service = no improvement

There must be a basic setting I missed changing but I'm mystified ?

Go to your PokerStars hand history directory and manually remove (or move) the files to a separate directory (do not make a subdirectory inside the PS hand history directory). They will no longer be imported when you start auto import.

I moved the file containing the hh's elsewhere in my hard drive, outside of the program folder.

HUD's have finally appeared but I am still seeing the same problems in the loading , i.e., 543 hh's are showing up in "import status" area and then dupe counter begins - i stopped the import function when the dupes were in the 3,000's

BTW, I overlooked mentioning that the number of hands shown in player summary has not changed since I attempted to upgrade to beta 10. no matter how many times I attempt to refresh

Overall, I consider seeing the HUD as some measure of progress.



BTW, I have not downloaded beta 11 - should I ?

If it's still finding files, you still have files in a directory somewhere. Are these PokerStars hands? If so, you need to look into any subdirectories in the PS hand history directory and move those files too.

You should upgrade to beta 11, it contains a number of Hud bugfixes.

I've moved all of my hh's into a stand alone file.

I hate to keep bothering you as you get closer to final release.

I'm thinking it may be best to uninstall my current version of P3 and reinstall beta 11. Other than knowing where to find HH's to import once I reinstall, is there anything I am overlooking that will sneak up and kill me ?

PT3 will list the files it's loading. Simply look in the Import Status window and see where the files are.
