Beta Version 11

Okay I exported the hands to a disk. Created a new database. Then imported my hands from the disk back into my database successfully.

Nothing is showing up in the hold em section. None of the 250,000 some odd hands.

What have I done wrong?

Try pressing the clear (filters) button. I had to do this after the initial import in order for all the hands/players to be displayed.

Nevermind. I shut poker tracker down them revved it back up and its showing. I have imported tracker hands and observed hands the same data base. Is that okay?

Plus can we use PT3 on Absolute Poker?

Things seem a lot smoother in this version. The hud is performing much better with no lag. It seems actually a lot faster than PAH. Good work.

I played a tournament on iPoker and still no HUD at all, not even the white PT cofig button that appears on the cash tables. Also with beta 10 whilst playing I could look in the tourney DB at the tournaments tab and see the tournament listed. In version 11 however, I see no tournaments listed and all figures under player statistics on the general tab are zero. Yet when I look at the hands tab I can see that all of the hands from the tournaments I have played are present so I assume imported correctly (no errors on import tab).

Any suggestions appreciated.

I upgraded to version 11 today, but am still having problems with HUD turning on and off for various players at the table. This is not limited to only new joiners/leavers but to any existing player as well. It seemed to work fine for the first few hands but after half hour or so the same problem began to appear. BTW, I am on Full Tilt.

Anyone else having the same issues?

I'm under windows XP and have install PT3 beta 11 over PT3 beta 10 (who was working fine with FTP).

What's the problem.

The HUD still doesn't appear for iPoker tournaments eventhough the hands are being imported. I checked it for stars tourneys on beta 10 and it was working fine. Also how do you limit stats of your opponents (in cash) to just show the last 150 hands or just the current session?

OK, I will try and do that. Also, popup stats have the text but no numbers for any stats.

That means the query hasn't finished for the popups. If you have large, or use a lot of databases, the queries will take longer.

Just installed the new version (the smaller size download installed directly over the top of beta 10, I didn't uninstall beta 10 first).
I noticed some differences in the stats so decided to create a new database and re-import all hands again. Thankfully, this is much qicker in PT3 than PT2 (nice work) but when I finished and I attempted to add new aliases to my name I received the following error message and the alias was not created.....

Unable to execute query: UPDATE tourney_holdem_results SET id_player = 1414 WHERE id_player_real = 6; Reason: Fatal Error ()

Any ideas why this is happening?

Also when importing I had a relatively small number of hand histories that caused errors, suc as 'No winner found for hand number xxxxxxxx'. I understand this is due to a falt in the hand history file and not PT3's fault, but is it possible to apply a filter that will show only those hands that errored on import? This would help to track down and resolve the errors.

P.S. Beta 11 now correctly detects the BetMost Poker HH folder but it does display a message that not all iPoker clients are configured to save files to disk when I know that they are. It detects all the folders so is this message simply appearing because the folders contained no HH files when I ran the autodetect function?

Please reproduce the alias problem and attach your PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket. Be sure to give a description of your problem.

It's looking for the "options_poker_savehistory" value under that registry key. If it doesn't exist, it believes the skin isn't configured to save hand histories. The message is just a warning, if the skin is configured and working properly, then it will pick up the hands.

Also, Josh, is it possile to delete a single hand from the database? I can't seem to find an appropriate option.

No, there's no way to selectively purge at this time.

Went from v9 to v11, got this message:
This is an older database. Imports and some reports may not work properly. Please create a new database.
And won't import new hands to my "outdated" database. Please advise.

You need to go to Database -> Database Management. Create a New database, set it to Active and Default. Make sure on auto-import, that the played and observed databases are set to the new database and you should be good to go.

You need to click "Refresh" after importing hands to have the new hands show up. You can certainly import observed and played hands in the same database. PT3 is not currently supporting Absolute, but we will in the near future.

Reproduce the problem and attach the PokerTracker.log file along with a screenshot of the tournament table to a support ticket. Be sure to give a description of your problem.

I'm still searching for the cause of this problem. Some people experience it often, others, not at all.

Please attach some of the hands you imported into PT3 (especially the ones that PT3 is showing as ",25$ NL") to a support ticket. Be sure to give a description of your problem.

Reproduce the problem and attach the PokerTracker.log file along with a screenshot of the tournament table to a support ticket. Be sure to give a description of your problem. At this time, you can't show only the last X hands in the Hud.

Is it safe to just install Beta Version 11 over Beta Version 10 or do I need to export my files, delete Version 10, install Version 11, and then reimport the files?

P.S. I just decided to install PT3 when Version 10 included the HUD and I was surprised how much faster it updated things better than PT2 with the PA Hud. Of course, I had my old databases in the old access format and not postgres and converted all of those to postgres. That could have some effect but I definitely like PT3. Good work, guys!
