Downloaded PT4 Beta - Can't connect to Database

I've been using the trial version of PT3 and thought I would give the beta a go.

I'm getting the common error message of "can't connect to this database"

I've tried a few ideas that have been mentioned but my PT3 is still working, could my password be wrong?

If i go to services and go to postgresql then log on. I think I have the option to change the password?

The password could be the issue - try using the password postgrespass and see if that works.

If it doesn't, you can see the password in plain text in the PokerTracker.cfg file (just open it in notepad).

I have tried that password and didn't work, where can that file be located?

For PT3 it is in C:\Program Files (x86)\PokerTracker 3\Data\Config (though remove the (x86) if you are on a 32 bit machine).
