... and now it's back. i waited for PT4 cpu usage to come down for ~10 minutes . killed it after that. snapshots attached.
i do have to note that PT4has been running in "get hands" mode from a 1am till 13:00, but the client itself was down.
upon restart it didn't send any crash stats to your servers.
i filed ticket 122051 for this.

This is still a major issue for me and makes my computer too slow to use. It seems to start randomly sometime after 'start importing hands' is selected. When I turn importing off it stops hogging the processor, so something going with the importing.

don't know if this has anything to do with the problems but PT4 sometimes imports the same HH and summaries again at startup. I will log back into PT4 and when my Pokerstars client lags so bad (not responding), until ALL the previous HH's are imported. I found that when re-importing large tourneys (like 10-20 K players on Sundays), it can take a bit. My Stars is frozen since PT4 takes over all the cpu process power.

Never really bothered with this, just noticed that HH were being imported again when I had seen the problems.

Don't know if this helps.

Cant edit post:

Just to add i think i went looking for my HH couple of times and found them still in the Stars username directory after having exited Pokerstars & PT4 ( not 100 % sure)

Are you playing Zoom? Zoom can lock hand history files so you may want to try closing Stars first, then stopping import and that should get all files to move.

No, tourneys, SNGs, and satellites mixed.

Happened just a few times.
