I think it's the note tracker.
It works in the background, very slow, cost cpu very much.

hmm.

NoteTracker does work in the background but it should use virtually no CPU - it only generates notes when PT4 isn't doing anything else, and shouldn't interfere with PT4 or anything else.
If you didn't already, please send us your log file so that we can see what is going on.

I have send log file via your support system.

Now I set "create automatic notes for hands since" to a future date, everything works fine, except for the notetracker itself, obv.

Now my primary issue is the table tracker. I really want to try it, but I can not select a limit, this is odd.

Thanks - we appreciate your reports and please bear with us while we get to your tickets; we have a large volume of support requests at the moment and we've been a bit short-handed over the weekend.

Im having this same issue. As soon as i play a few tables (stars) my pc is lagging but if i set notetracker to future date the lag instantly goes away. Any ideas because i don't really want notetracker turned off i find it useful.

Running Win 7, i5, SSD and 8GB RAM.

You can start NoteTracker and let it run in the background when you're not at your machine and it will catch up eventually. To turn it on click Tools -> NoteTracker -> Status and click Run (note that this is separate for tourneys and cash games, so if you play both you'll need to do one then the other). Once it's caught up to 100%, you should be all set and new hands should not cause this kind of behavior.
