I use handgrabber with 888 and PT4 doesn't seem to want to import those hands while playing but it will import them if I do a manual import from disk. Is there an option I need to change somewhere to get this to work?

Do you have PT4 configured to import from the folder these files are being written to? If they are in the original hand history format then they should auto import OK.

yup, and like I said they import fine when I manually import from the directory so its not a problem with the format.
It seems as if its set to not import observed hands even though I have the import observed hands button checked.

Where are the files being written to?
Try having them written to a different folder (e.g. a new folder in the same place as the real HH folder) and see if that works any better.

It doesn't really work. When you change the default folder for "Text Output Directory" from the original folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Pacific Hand Grabber\History" to 888s hand history folder it will import some hands from handgrabber that way but there are a lot of errors and eventually it gives some major errors and stops importing. The same thing happens with PT3 fwiw . Doesn't make much sense to me, is there a log file I should submit?

This error sequence comes up and it stops importing automatically:
06:36:57 am: Error: Fatal Exception during Auto-Import process: bad allocation
06:37:01 am: 888 Poker: Stopping auto-import.
06:37:14 am: Auto-Import stopped.

Yes, please send us your log file. In the main PT4 window click File --> Show User Data Directory. In the window that appears, the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4.
