Adding new notes

Postby CzechFencer » Tue Jun 12, 2012 12:42 pm

Hi guys,

If I add a new automatic note definition to the NoteTracker, would it be processed automatically or do I need to purge all notes first?

I have create two tournament notes but although I can see them in the definition list, there is no indication of applying them to hands from the database.

Thanks.

If you add a new note and want to go back and reprocess the hands already processed you'll need to purge the existing notes and start fresh. We keep track of whether a hand has been checked for notes, so if you want it looked at again you need to run Purge.

On a related topic, is there a way to purge only tournament notes and not cash notes (or vice versa)? When I add a new note to the tournament automatic notes and want to reprocess my hands to pick up the new note, I have to purge everything and then run notetracker on everything - including my cash game notes, which seem like a waste of effort and, more importantly, it takes a while for all my cash game hands to be processed.

Not at this point in time, but I'll pass along this suggestion to the development team on your behalf.
