I'm trying to see if aggressive preflop actions change significantly when certain opponents get short stacked in cash games. Specifically I'm looking at preflop 3b %. I seem to run into a lot of players willing to 3b shove with any pair or ace if they allow their stack to get to ~40BB or less.
I go to the Statistics page and pull up the Preflop 3Bet% for this particular player, and it gives me the overall 3Bet PF of 4.13% I apply a filter for 0-40 BB preflop stack, and the heat map and hands shown changes, but it still says Overall 3Bet% is 4.13%. Is there a way to see the Overall 3Bet% for the filtered hands on this page, or do I have to run a separate report for each stack size I want to look at?

The "overall" stat value is taken from all hands and doesn't currently respect the filters specified. This is in our system to be fixed.
The grid and stats for the selected hand should use the filter correctly.
There was a change related to effective stack sizes in the latest couple of updates and currently the effective stack size filter in the Holdem Hand Range Visualizer (heat map) won't work correctly.
If you still see the heat map grid with that option enabled then it suggests that you haven't updated.
If you're using this feature you may want to hold off updating until the next release, at which point you'll need to create a new database and re-import your hands to get the correct data.

Since I am more interested in the percentages than actual hands anyway and since I was curious I went ahead and downloaded the current version 4.01.23. I applied the filter (between 0 & 40 Big Blinds) and the heat map changed correctly. Maybe the error has to do with tournament stack sizes and not cash games?
Anyway I'll just wait for future releases for the bug to be corrected. Thanks.

The effective stack size filter in the More Filters window will work OK, just not the "Effective BBs" option directly in the sidebar when using the Holdem Hand Range Visualizer.
Did you re-import your hands to a new database?
The new effective stack data will not be populated until you reimport.

I was using the More Filters. I didn't even see the Effective BBs check box on the side bar. When I use that then the heat map goes away. Glad you mentioned it, it will be much easier to use that once it starts working.
