Click Start, click Run type in msconfig and hit enter. Go to the startup tab. Do you see a line with postgres.exe in it?

No. It's under the "Services" tab though, and all services will be loaded too ("normal startup procedure").

It should be under services - that's normal; it needs to start as a service.

But the DOS command screen shouldn't appear every time I start up windows.

What I did now is remove PostgreSQL entirely from my computer, then reboot.
Then install PostgreSQL again, then reboot.
But again the DOS screen appears...

OK, the issue is finally solved.
I un-installed PostgreSQL, and un-installed PokerTracker, then reboot.
Then I went to the PostgreSQL website, and downloaded the newest PostgreSQL version, which is currently 9.1.
Installed PostgreSQL 9.1, then installed PokerTracker.
Rebooted again, and the DOS screen was gone. ;)

What is different now, is that the postgres.exe files are running from user "postgres",
so probably the problem was that they were running from user "SYSTEM", which I saw when I had this problem.
I still don't know how to change this though, but fortunately after a lot of installing and rebooting it seems to be fixed now... :)
