hi , I have same problem. I am running vista and my antivirus is Kaspersky, should I try that link too?

As long as it's 64 bit Vista yes you can.

You just have to use a different installer then - try this one and let me know if that works for you.

sorry ignore above , managed to install the database . But now it says unable to connect to the data base . I have checked the settings and all seem correct.

Use the password you just put in while installing it - you may need to change the PT3 defaults but that's ok.
