PostgresSQL and firefox bug

Hello,
It seems that when the PostgresSQL is running i can't open firefox at first ... i click on firefox shortcut it doesnt open however i can see it runing in background in the process tree....then i have to end the firefox process and open it again and then it works.Any1 have this error?

That isn't a general issue - I use Firefox and PostgreSQL all the time.
What operating system do you have?
What versions of PostgreSQL and Firefox do you have?

We've had reports of this very intermittently over the years - does it happen all of the time for you? To date nobody has been able to reproduce this consistently.

A developer just informed me that upgrading your sound drivers may fix this issue, so you should give that a try if those aren't up to date.
