Never starts?

hello just purchased your poker tracker 3 downloaded it installed it. When double clicking the icon a box pops up and says pokertracker.exe has stopped working blah blah blah close program. When dowloaded I downloaded the one with postgreSQL. I run a year old computer w/ vista program running on it.

Are you running PT3 under a VM or with any sort of debugging software? What are your computer specs?

Sorry for stupid questions but please bare with me. Im not the sharpest on computers. I have norton 360 running and scan with windows defender. Specs? AMD athlon 3800 1GB DDR2 250GH hard disc? Those kind of specs? VM virtual machine? Last year sometime I purchased the pokeredge software and it never worked correctly and was told to download I think VM. It made things worse and eventually erased it.

I have the same problem. When I installed the beta 11 patch PT3 does not start. I didn't have this problem with beta 10.

I have tried to uninstall and then install again without success. Do you have a solution to this problem?

Check and see if you have 'Data Execution Prevention' enabled...

Go Start->Control Panel->System & Maintenance->System->Advanced System settings. Click the 'Settings' button under the Performance section. Under the 'Data Execution Prevention' tab, which option is selected?

If 'Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select' is selected then click 'Add' and browse to and select 'PokerTracker.exe' under your main PokerTracker 3 directory.
