Confused on a stat

Postby xxDRBxx1 » Thu Aug 16, 2012 4:58 pm

I have been trying to see how much money I have won/lost in which my opponent called a 4b on me. I have been hitting various things, but it always just turns out if there was a 4b period. Is there a way to see the desired info? Thanks.

You want to add filters for:
Actions and Opportunities -> Preflop -> Raises -> Any 4Bet
And
NOT(Actions and Opportunities -> Preflop -> Opportunities -> Reraise Opportunity 5Bet+ (Facing 4Bets or Greater)
AND
Actions and Opportunities -> Flop -> Saw Flop

This will limit things to the times you 4bet, saw a flop and didn't get reraised preflop and thus limit it to times that your 4bet was called.

Thanks for your help, but I am still having trouble. (I am using PT v3.12.1)

I go to Texas Hold 'em (Cash Games)
Filters
Actions (I see the Raise section, then I see the 4 Bet box underneath it... but that is as far as I can get).

Sorry for the trouble, but your help is appreciated.

Thanks.

If you click on the 4Bet line it will get a check, then click Add to Filters. Then click Add Filter and click Actions and Opportunities -> Preflop -> Opportunities -> and click on the row that says Reraise Opportunity 5Bet+ (Facing 4Bets or Greater). Then click Add to Filter. Click on that last filter that was just added and click the Not Selected button and a NOT() will go around it. Then click Add Filter and click Actions and Opportunities -> Flop and turn Saw Flop on and click Add to Filter. Then click Save & Apply Filters.

I think I have it down until "Reraise Opportunity 5Bet+ (Facing 4Bets or Greater). The only options I have under -Actions-Raise-are 4 Bet, 4 Bet Opp, 4 Bet Opp Called, 4 Bet Opp Folded.

Basically, I cannot find the row that says 'Reraise Opportunity 5Bet+ (Facing 4Bets or Greater).

Thanks again.

All 4Bets and higher are stored as 4Bet+ in PT3 so it isn't possible to filter for 5Bets separately. Kraada's directions look as if he was answering from a PT4 point of view..

I clearly forgot which forum I am in - those were PT4 directions. In PT3 you want to filter for not (Facing 4Bet) on the Facing tab - since this is technically a 4bet or higher it should end up working correctly for you. My apologies for the confusion.

Not to worry, although nothing I try works still :(
I am trying combinations of under the actions tab: 4 Bet
under the Facing tab: (Not)Face 4 Bet, Call 4 Bet, and (Not)Face All-In.

Nothing seems to get the job done of finding out how much I am up/down in spots in which I 4 bet an opponent, and they just call.

Thanks.

Actually, I might have it now... I filtered:
Raise First In
Facing 3 Bet Preflop
Preflop 4 Bet
NOT (Facing Allin - Preflop)

Only problem is I do not know how to get rid of when I am 5 bet that is not all in, and also when I 4 bet a short stack and that puts him all in.
But it is still a good sense of things. Thanks.

Yeah edge cases like the non-allin 5bets are going to be tough to filter out, hence why PT4 is better for this sort of thing :)
