How to create NT stats? [HUSNG showdowns]

Postby mrb » Wed Sep 12, 2012 11:00 pm

I wanna create some easy showdown stats that gives me some quick overview of showdowns (handvalues).
(How do I remove all old notes that NT have taken?)

what villain.
(i wanna sort them for eff stack size aswell)

SB
steal
limp
limp re-raise
3B call all in
3B call non all in

BB
call
3B all in
3B non all in
attack limp

Ive seen that many of these stats already exists in NT, but I wanna duplicate and change the effective stacks for them but i cant remove the predefined eff stack for them.
Is it possible to make any notes on how they play BP, MP, TP, DRAWS, AX?

Already on my way.

limps:
how do i choose that villain limped and hero check behind (didnt attack limp.)

3BC all-in:
do i need to choose that villain went all-in preflop or is it enough that he called preflop 3B and that hero went all in?

more questions :)

does "cardrange" tell me what exact hand they hand in that scenario or do i need to choose saw showdown?

how do i get what villain attacks heros limp with?
how do i get what villain limp-raise?
how do i get the hand strength villain had when he "CB-check-bet river" and the other scenario where he "check-bet turn-bet river" (SB).

Is it possible to set how the notes will show up in game, if i want them in a specific order, for example:
Steal
Steal (more then 2x)
Limp
Limp-call
Limp-raise
3BC
3BC All-in
Open-jam

You can duplicate and change any filter in any existing default note - to change things, just click the Player button and that brings up the list of filters. You can remove any filter with the red X and then add a new one with Add Filter. The effective stack size filters are in Hand Details -> Pot Size & Stack Depth.

The way things work is that whenever the set of filters come back as true for Player the note is taken - so if you make a set of filter for bottom pair (for example) and that includes certain other actions (3betting the flop say) then you get a note for when they do that thing (3bet the flop with bottom pair).

For some things you need to use a little logic. For example, your "hero limps and doesn't face a raise" you want to use Player limping and not(player had a chance to reraise preflop). To add not to something, add that thing to the filter (in this case Actions and Opportunities -> Preflop -> Opportunities -> Reraise Opportunity), then click on it and the "NOT Selected" button and you'll see NOT() go around it - meaning that has to be not the case.

{cardrange} implies that we know their cards - if they show hole cards we could know them without showdown but by in the large assuming showdown is generally going to be true.

If you want a specific opponent to have done something (say hero limps), you want to use the Opponent button. If you use Player Is Hero in the Opponent button as well as anything else (like limps) that guarantees that hero did the action in question. Whenever Opponent is used there must be one Opponent (who is not Player) who matches the Opponent filters as written.

There is no variable for hand strength postflop so the best way to do strength notes is to write a note for a range of strengths and go from there (e.g. called a pot size bet on the river with second pair or worse).

Ok cool thanks.

how do i get what villain attacks heros limp?
is it player limps, opponent attempted steal, player calls 2bet?

how do i get what villain limp-raise?
is it player limps, opponent attempted steal, player raised steal?

Is it possible to set how the notes will show up in game, if i want them in a specific order?

Ive made a note for when villain raise more then 2bb. But the problem is that when he raise lets say 3bb and we shove and he calls it goes into the 3BC range and i get nothing in the note where it says that he opens more then 2bb.
whats the problem? should it go into both notes?

Ive put it to attempted steal, not raised all in and 2bet size netween 2.01 and 100.

Attempting a steal is only opening with a raise in the cutoff or later - you just want any 2Bet and the limp will necessarily have to have come before the raise. You could also use the Opportunity to Raise Limpers filter on the A&O -> Preflop -> Opportunities page (though if you want Hero's limp to be raised you need Opponent to be Hero and have limped obviously).

Player limps and Player 3bet is sufficient to ensure that he limp/reraised (because in order for him to 3bet someone must have raised).

In your latter note when you have them attempting to steal they must have opened in a pot in the CO and later and then not raised all-in at any point preflop - that's why you're not getting that hand when they get 3bet and 4bet shove. If you want any 2bet and that 2bet never to be all in you want:
2bet between 2.01 and 100 and (4bet+ OR NOT(raised all-in))

This is saying they 2bet in this range and then one of two things is true:
(1) they 4bet or higher (which means their 2bet couldn't be all-in)
or
(2) they didn't raise all-in at all (so obviously there 2bet couldn't be all-in).

That should cover all cases, then you'll get this note taken in addition to 3bet calling ranges. One hand can make multiple notes without any problems.

No, that's not possible at this time.

Thanks for that, I was wondering how I could do that :D

@mrb.

It is partly possible to have the notes show in a specific order. Preflop will always be first, then flop, turn and river. But within each group you can have them show in what order you want. The notes show in alphabetical order, so you can add number or letter at the beginning of each note like this

Image

Just note, you have to add the letter or number in the "text to insert as note" field.
