newbie please help - how to see in HUD..

Postby beautoxnz » Sun Dec 11, 2011 9:20 pm

I've just started with PT3 so apologies if these arestupid questions. I tried looking for answers but couldn't find..

1) I'd like to be able to see in the HUD whether I've played against players before. How?
2) Stats like VPIP are shown in the HUD for the current session. How do I show VPIP for (a) all time or (b) the last x hands/last x months ?

Thanks

1. You will only see stats for players that you've played before - or at least, players you have in your own database.
2. Your own stats will only ever be for the current session/table - this is by design, and is intended to show your current table image. Other players' stats should be 'lifetime'.

Hi

I hope you can answer me, cause this is wierd.

I have lifetime stats for me on the table and want to have table stats?

This is even more odd, cause sometimes it change to table stats for 3-4 hands and then go back to lifetime stats?

Thank you in advance

Your stats should never show lifetime on the HUD - what site are you playing at?

IGT poker network

When I play at Party poker at the same time:
Party is table stats
IGT is lifetime

Please restart PT4 using the Logging Enabled link on your Start Menu and reproduce this problem. Then please send us the PokerTracker4.log file via a support ticket so that we can investigate this further for you. You can find this file by clicking File -> Open User Data Folder in the main PT4 window. The file we need is the text file called PokerTracker that's in the folder that appears.

Once we have your log files we will be able to get this corrected permanently. Thanks!

IIRC IGT has a peculiar issue related to logging in to their software. Make sure you enter you screenname exactly correctly, including upper and lower case letters, because they write the name as you enter it in some parts of the hand history and as it should be in other places. This means that your name is not "correct" and can lead to the behaviour you describe.
e.g. If your screenname is "WhiteRider" you must login as "WhiteRider"; not "whiterider" or "WHITERIDER", etc.

If that doesn't help please update to v3.13.9 (PT3 Download Page) and report your problem if that doesn't help either.
