Will removing a pop up group increase HUD speed?

I currently have the the default pop up group assigned to my table. I was wondering, since I don't often use the pop up group, whether removing it would increase the speed that my HUD updates?
If this is so, how do I go about removing the pop up group?

For PT3 it would help. The way to remove it would be to go into the Configure --> Configure Hud --> Groups tab and click on the group you want to remove and click Delete. That will delete the popup group and then it won't be around to get queried.
