Party Poker SnG Import

Postby Magog » Sun May 11, 2008 12:59 pm

I've got about 7000 Party SnGs in two separate PT2 access databases, dating back over the last couple of years.

I'd like to import all the data into a single PT3 database. Is this possible and, if so, what would be the most efficient way of doing this? PT2 had an option to import HH summaries from my email inbox (file -> import hand histories -> check email) but I can't find this option in PT3.

thanks

If they are single table tournaments, I believe there is an option on the tournament summary page to auto-fill the results based on reading hand histories and seeing what order players went out in, but I don't know if this will do everything you want. Tournament support is being updated, though, so I'm sure the option will be added.

It used to be a two-part process. First, the individual hands would import whilst playing a sng; and second you would have to import the summaries from email.

Now I can't seem to get the data I need. I've tried exporting the sngs from PT2 (Utilities -> Export HHs to file) then importing these into PT3. Only about 1500 of 7000 imported, and these had incorrect data. I've tried the auto-fill option but it doesn't work - a pop-up says this will only work for sng tourneys (which they are).

OK, then it would be worth restarting PT3 to clean out the log file, and re-doing the auto-fill then submitting the PokerTracker.log file to the Support system. Please link to this thread in the reference field.
