adding 2012 PokerStars VPP Counter stat to hand report

i'd like to add this stat to my report, but it doesn't show up in the "information" statistics tab, why is this, how can i add this to a report so i can see how many vpp's i am making per hand?

The VPP custom statistic available for download was meant for Player reports, but a Hand version can be built fairly easily. Since this only applies to cash games, I've built the cash games version and attached it here for you. Just unzip, import, and add it to your report.

VPPs per hand would make sense.

I downloaded today (Oct 2012) from the warehouse the vpp file 'pokerstars_vpps_-_cash.pt4stat and after reading this post I also imported the 'PokerStars VPPs - Hand.pt4stat' from the zip.
There is only one stat available 'PokerStars VPPs'. shouldnt there be two for each *.pt4stat ?

.. and the calculation is slightly off. the month stats doesnt fit the poker stars client count for the vpps around 2%.
is that within tolerance?

It should be perfectly identical - have you changed your My Day Starts At setting in PT4? If you did, that would change how PT4 views each month and might make things off slightly for you.

ok, yeah its slightly off. should be alright. even if i match my day starts at w the PokerStars client time, its still off the monthly count from the PokerStars count by like a few percent.
Listen, which file should I import to pt4? I can choose between 'PokerStars VPPs - cash' and 'PokerStars VPPs - hand'. which are both from this website.

For hand reports, you want the Hand version here. The Cash version is for Player reports so you could see things like VPPs/hour or by stake or something like that. You'd need it only when doing groupings of hands - for the individual hand report, you want the linked one.
