Full Tilt

Postby zerotim » Tue Nov 06, 2012 2:22 pm

Hi,

I have some problems together with full tilt:

- somerimes the error messages 2012/11/06 19:19:18: Full Tilt: Error: Invalid pot size for hand #31320437803 (Hand #31320437803) happens
- I can't move my HUD to the position, which I want

Do you already have a fix for that or do I have to wait?

Thanks,
Tim

Tim,

Unfortunately we don't have a fix yet for PT3. First we are focusing on getting a fix out for PT4 - we hope to have that available later today.

Once PT4's fix is out and we make sure everything is working for everyone we will then look into fixing PT3. I've been told we expect it will be 2 to 3 weeks before we have a PT3 beta available with the fix.

Hi,

What about we poor Mac users, who cannot use PT4? Every fix now that FTP would require (i expect many, for sure), we will always be placed in 2nd priority? Not good at all... :?

thanks,

You're the biggest reason why we're immediately working on a patch for PT3. It just takes time to make these changes.

We also expect a PT4 Mac beta out before the end of the year at which point you will have that option as well.

2-3 weeks? You can't be serious - a fix for PT4 needs one day and for PT3 a few weeks? I hope you will get it done in a shorter period of time.

So this is how you treat customers?

you did fix for pt4 in less than day. You can do that to pt3 also in less than day if you want.

Question is why would you want to delay 2-3 weeks? to get more ppl to buy pt4? dosen't seem very ethical.

Edit: I already claimed that 500$ bonus in full tilt so your greed is costing me that much hope you are happy with that...

Such attitude to PT3 users is unacceptable! It is really disgusting. Dont believe that you indeed need 3 weeks to issue fixed beta, it is rediculous (as wrote "spiglot" - you managed to issue PT4 beta in less than a day).

I hope you will speed up the process of fixing for PT3. Don't disappoint your loving users.

When you fix the bug, will we be able to remove the game files that were removed on the original import and then moved to the processed files folder from the processed files folder and re-import them if they are copied and pasted into the hand history folder?

The PT4 beta with Full Tilt support was in the pipeline for 3 weeks+ and was supposed to be released well over a week ago. Unfortunately, we had a major showstopper which took quite a while to get fixed and delayed the release by 1-1.5 weeks. It did not take us "only" a day to get this beta out -- and in fact, we had to rush it out faster than we typically like.

Due to the showstopper delaying our PT4 release, it also has taken resources away from getting a PT3 release out. In addition, we have stated that PT3 will not be getting any new features and that we would only continue to support existing sites. Full Tilt is essentially a "new site" as quite a few things have changed and there was a discussion previously whether we would even support this new site in PT3. After internal discussions, we unanimously agreed that we would add support in PT3; however, it would be after PT4 and could take up to 2 weeks which we do not believe is an unreasonable amount of time.

We have heard your complaints and we are trying our best to get a PT3 release out a soon as possible (faster than initially stated). I can promise you that it is not a lack of effort or interest.

Best regards,

Derek
