You may be one of the only two people who have tried PT4 who have ever made this claim. PT4 is lightyears ahead of PT3 and HEM, we won't interfere with your ability to have this opinion, but clearly you are alone in this sentiment.

PS: Please check your PMs. We have an related issue we would like to discuss with both of you.

It will take UP TO 2-3 weeks, this is our standard time frame for almost all releases, that should not be surprising if you are a long time PT3 owner. In reality we don't know how long it will actually take, it depends on the testing process, it could be as sooner if we find no problems, or it could be in 2-3 weeks if we find issues that will delay the release. We anticipate having our first internal alpha ready today or tomorrow, this is what we use to start testing. Testing might take a long time, or it might not.. it is impossible to guess. When we find issues during testing they are fixed... in the meantime additional code is added and tested again. In theory we could release the FTP code immediately, but that would be "spitting in the face" of PT3 users because the code is different from PT4, we expect to find more problems during coding. If we were to release it immediately we would have a lot of irate users if we included any bugs, we have learned from experience that we do not release new version until it is 100% tested and ready to be used by our users. Patience.... it's coming, you have not been ignored, programing takes time!

PS: We have been busy working on PT4 for OS X, which we want to have released before the end of the year... it has been our #1 most requested addition to PokerTracker, and we hope we can deliver it on schedule. We have to stop PT4 OSX development to work on the FTP release for PT3, this is not a cheap marketing trick... we just need to balance our available resources.

As a PT3 owner you currently get a 70% discount off the upgrade to PT4 (which now supports the new FTP updates) although this discount will be reduced after November 25th so you may want to consider upgrading sooner rather than later to get the best deal.
Feel free to check out the free trial - PT4 Download Page. (Be sure to get 4.05.4 Beta for Full Tilt support)[/quote]

So where can i get the 70% off? when i go to purchase PT4 it just has the full price

I can simply go back to a previous version right ? I want to see these details so the newer version is a waste of time for me until this is fixed.

Go to your My Account -> Order History page and on the bottom-right hand side of this page will be listed your upgrade discount(s).

Alright thanks for the response. Then it might be a good idea to mention that in the first post, something along the lines of; "the code is different for PT3 than for PT4, and due to that it will take a longer time. We are going to test it, and it could take up to 2-3 weeks, but hopefully sooner."

Instead you phrased it; "we will release PT4 update in one day, and PT3 in 2-3 weeks, here check our bonus offer for PT4!", it was pretty easy to get the feeling that you only delayed the update to force your customers to upgrade. I'm sure you can see how it could have been misinterpreted as well.

Can you show me where it was phrased like that? If you are correct then I will be sure to address this so we don't make that mistake in the future, I agree that would be an error. thnx!

This is not an issue of fair/unfair... this is only a company using it's resources the best it can to please the greatest number of players as quickly as possible.

The very next day after Full Tilt came back:

"Now that the PT4 update is out a PT3 update will follow in 2-3 weeks.

As a PT3 owner you currently get a 70% discount off the upgrade to PT4 (which now supports the new FTP updates)"

Do you not agree this can easily be misinterpreted?
