Big Database stop Party Client

I'm playing on Party Poker with a database of around 5 million hands. But everytime i start to play and the HUD wants to provide the stats i guess the tables stop i can not react on a single one. it takes 3-4 minutes i guess until i am back. can i do anything that this did not happen or is the database simply to big?

The database is probably too large right now.

We have plans on implementing a cache which will boost performance by many fold and you should then not have any problems; however, this will not get added until after the commercial release.
