PT3 to PT4 upgrade discount for Mac users

In a thread from a couple of weeks ago https://www.pokertracker.com/forums/vie ... 30#p223254 it was mentioned that current PT3 users get a substantial discount for upgrading to PT4. However it was also stated that this offer would only be available for a few weeks and also that the Mac Beta would be available in a couple of months.

Are you planning on offering this same upgrade discount to Mac users when the Mac version is finally out?

The license is not for Windows or Mac specifically - you can get your license now and use it on Windows now and Mac when that version is released.

That's all well and good, but I don't like using a VM to run poker software, for a few reasons and there are many reasons why I choose to use OS X over Windows. Also how does this help any Mac PT users who aren't checking in on these threads on a regular basis if the offer runs out before the Mac version is released? For example, I specifically asked to be added to the beta list for the Mac version but hadn't heard anything of the 70% discount:

a) being available for upgrades (I still can't find it anywhere on the site)
b) not being available for Mac users when we finally get a version of PT4

I really, really appreciate the fact that PokerTracker supports the OS of my choice, but I do feel that we Mac users are getting a raw deal with this discount if it really won't run until the version for our OS is available.

The 70% discount is for PT3 owners, not Windows users or Mac users - you buy a license to use PT4, not to use it on a specific operating system.

I think you're missing my point.

I don't have the opportunity to try the software I will be using (PT4 on Mac) before this offer goes away, and as a paying customer I don't expect to get a different treatment to other paying customers just because of my operating system choice.

DEFusion - Your making big assumptions, since we cannot discuss what we have planned for the future this thread is premature. Feel free to create this thread again once we release the Mac version if you still feel the same way at that time.
