Serious tourney error

Postby dj11 » Sat May 10, 2008 11:57 pm

I have this one particular tourney that has things in an uproar.

I would attach a screen shot, as it gives all the pertinent info. But I see no attachment option.

In a nutshell, it was a 4 table super sat to the Sunday 100K at stars. In the database it shows 58,000+ entrants into this $2.00 affair. I actually finished 7th, but the database shows me at 14th. Prizes are shown for 20,000 places.

I do not have the nerve to run the replayer on this particular tourney! LOL I fear ending up on one of the moons of Jupiter! EEK.

So, I would like to purge this particular tourney from the database, or otherwise delete it.

What can I do?

The ss would be useful, but the logfile even moreso. The logfile is c:\program files\poker tracker3\pokertracker.log. zip that and teh pic together and please attach them to a support thread. Create one here:

Looking through that log file I see only references to action from a tourney I played today.
I can find no reference to the villain tourney. Even when I look at that tourney in my processed folder I can find no good reason for the error. It looks normal.

From my experience I think perhaps some hard disk clusters got cross linked. It is possible that several, or a whole lot of tourneys got linked together which could explain some things.

I also notice that this happened before beta 10 when a new database was required. I created the new one, and never got rid of the old one. So when I check the old one the problem shows.

Before opening a ticket I want to see what the next beta brings.

If you don't mind, please attach the tournament hands and summary to a support ticket. I'd like to see if I can replicate this issue and get it resolved before putting out another release.
