PT3 PokerStars Unsupported database type for Mac

Postby Mary_Bly » Sat Dec 01, 2012 10:23 am

I have bought PT3 about a year ago and I use it on iMac, I have faced several issues with errors in feeding info.

I play in Pokerstars and the message I get at Import Status is the following:
Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: Unsupported database type: PokerTracker 3 Database ()

What I should do?? I like the utility is very useful but a few days work and then I have to be IT specialist to solve the issues...

I have used it only a few days without problems..

Thanks for your replies..

Did you make any changes to PostgreSQL yourself, or upgrade to a newer version of PostgreSQL?

Are you able to create a new database via Database > Database Management?

I remember that PostgreSQL has upgraded but not sure..

I found the option to create new database, what should I do? click on "New" or something else??

Thanks for your reply

If you installed a different major version of PostgreSQL (e.g. moved from 8.4 to 9.0) then your old 8.4 databases can't be read.

Try "New" in Database > Database Management and see if it will create a new database.
Select the new one and set it to be Active and Default.
Can you now import hands?

Thanks very much for your help, feeding works fine but in PT3 I have a red message that says "Pokerstars is not configured to save hand histories to disk"

Note that the directory is ok in PokerStars options is ticked to "Save My Hands History" and on English language...

thanks
