Postby infamous » Wed May 14, 2008 8:17 pm

Hello I purchased the poker tracker 3 holdem and recieved a reciept for it and have been using it for a week or so. Now it says when I turn on poker tracker that it is about to expire. Is this standard or did I not download the right one?

You preordered the software and downloaded the beta. Word is that the commercial release is tomorrow (5-15) and beta 11 is designed to expire around this time so that people don't continuously use the beta without paying. I'm sure those of us that have preordered will be notified in some way when the commercial release is live.

I preordered but I heard that the trial is going to be fully functional for at least a little while.

Why is the commercial version being released on May 15th, when HUD still disappears on May 14th?

What do you think they haven't considered this? Do you think they have just been sitting with their thumbs up their butts since the beta 11 release? Im sure they have it under control.

From http://www.pokertracker.com/products/PT3/purchase.php

If you have not yet downloaded and installed PokerTracker™ 3, please download and install before purchasing. NO REFUNDS will be issued so please take full advantage of the free 30 day trial.

Obviously, the beta is free. I encourage you to try it out. It's not 100% complete, but it's pretty close. Once it's released commercially there will be a 30 day trial. If it's anything like PT2, it will only allow you to import a certain small number of hands so you can see the functionality without being able to exploit the product fully.
