Unable to login to database (postgres)

Hello,

I used PT4 all day yesterday with no problems. Today every time I start PT4 I getting popup msg "Unable to login to database (postgres). Reason: server closed the connection unexpectedly This probably means the server terminated abnormally before o while processing the request."

Using latest PT4 version and PostgreSQL 9.0

Need help...

Click Start type services.msc and click on it when it appears. Locate PostgreSQL in the list - are you able to start the server?
