unsupported database type: pokertracker 3 database ()- MAC

hello,

my pokertracker was running fine for weeks, but all of a sudden in the middle of a session I got this message:

Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: Unsupported database type: PokerTracker 3 Database ()

Can someone help me what to do now? I am using a MAC.

That can sometimes happen if the connection between PT3 and the database was unexpectedly severed (e.g. if PostgreSQL crashed). Try rebooting your machine and let me know if that helps you see data.

I rebooted the system but I still get the same problem

If you try to create a new database via Database Management, does it create the database successfully?

I cant create a new database as I am using the trial version

Do you see PostgreSQL in your Applications folder?

Yeah I do, for some reason it is empty though. However I haven't deleted anything of it.

Ok, PostgreSQL is installed and running but I'm not certain exactly what happened to your database. Please create a support ticket and one of our technicians will work with you to figure out what is the appropriate next step.
