OnGame Hand Histories

Postby tigerjack89 » Sun Feb 24, 2013 7:54 am

As you know, the ongame network doesn't write into hand histories the hands mucked by villains at showdown.
If I manually type these informations in some hand histories and reimport them, could I be able to see the hands on pt4? Or is there also a pt4 block that doesn't allow to see these hands?

Thanks in advance :)

If you manually edited the hands so that the data was there properly it would import, but you'd need to purge the hand in question first before importing the updated hand as we don't import data from duplicate hands.

Thanks for the explanation :)

In fact you don't need to purge and re-import. If you add showdown hands to the summary section then this information will be added when you re-import even if you don't purge first.

I don't think I fully got the point. What I have to do? Just manually insert information in the hh and reimport?

Apparently that is the case. There's apparently a few tricks even I can still learn :)

I tried to modify an old hand history and reimport them, but nothing changes.
Instead, if I purge them and then import, I can see the oppo mucked cards.

In that case please attach two copies of a file - one with an edited hand and one with an original hand to a support ticket. This is supposed to work but we will need the hands which aren't working in order to figure out what is going wrong and get it fixed.

Ok I'll do it as soon as possible.
2 brief questions:
1) How can I select all the hands where: a) both players go to showdown b)villain calls or check the worst hand?
2) How can I purge only one hand?

More Filters -> Actions and Opportunities -> River -> Saw Showdown will get you hands where the active player saw the showdown. Does this problem only occur with call or check/call hands?

There's no way to purge just one hand at this point you'd need to purge the entire session via Database -> Purge Hands. But if you edit one hand and reimport that file it should be sufficient.

For us to fix the problem though you can just create a single hand long file and we'll be working on it in a database consisting of just that hand. Then once we fix the problem you'll just be able to re-run import on the file in question and the showdown data will be picked up.
