Problems with launching tables/sites directly...

Postby FieldingGray » Sun Apr 07, 2013 9:47 am

Hi there,

Sorry I know that this is a subject which has cropped up at various times in this forum but after spending hours pulling out my hair trying to apply the various pieces of advice that I found, all to no avail. And as I have a shaved head, let me tell you it's no mean feat pulling out my hair :)

Anyway, the two main clients that I have tried opening directly from TT - Partypoker and Pokerstars - neither works. In the case of PP, I launch from within TT after which the PP establishing connection box appears and then the prompt to log in. At which point, the establishing connection box comes up again - along with a PP error report box saying that there was an unexpected crash - and I have to log in again. At which point, it is impossible to launch any tables directly. The message about having to open within TT pops up...

I am not sure how but sometimes I can open the table but without being logged into PP. As soon as I click log in though in order to take a seat, the establishing connection bx appears again and we're back to the start and not being able to open a table :(

In the case of Pokerstars, it doesn't even get that far. I can launch the site but as soon as I click on a table, a box comes up saying that Pokerstars GUI is not running and then the whole site crashes and I have log back in again etc.

I am afraid that I am not the most IT savvy of people so please forgive my fumbling through the darkness but I hope that there's a simple way of dealing with this as I love the concept of TT. I just wish I could get it to work!!

All the best,

Charlie

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder. Once we have your logs we will be able to better say what is the proper next step for you.
