I have deleted all active rules for the notetracker, but all my hands were played before today still processed.

Seems, there is no option to disable notetracker. Hands are processed anyway without creating notes even when all rules are removed

There is no way to disable it completely but if you set it to only take notes on hands after a date in the future (say 2020) then it will ignore all hands you've got in your database.

We've added a more specific way to disable NT completely - try making this change and see if it improves things for you.

In PT4 click File -> Open User Data Folder and in the Config subdirectory open PokerTracker.cfg with a text editor. Add the following text at the bottom:

[NoteTracker]
Enable=N

Then save the file and restart PT4 and let me know if that helps.

this doesn't help. as i said notetracker was already disabled - the date of "create automatic notes since" was set to 2100 year

Then with that setting added and in 4.09, please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder. Then we'll be able to look into what could be going on more effectively for you.
