Errr Everything really

Postby Plaza Player » Mon Apr 22, 2013 2:24 pm

Hey peeps.
I upgraded from PT3 to PT4 last week, and I thought it would transfer everything over for me. All my previous results, cash hands etc etc. But I found that once it had transferred it all over, I actually only had a smidge of hands and only 3 months of play to date. That being Nov, Dec last yr and April this yr. I don't have any filters on so should in theory show everything.
I have been looking for ways or things that I may of missed for this problem and everything is still in default. But then I hit Advanced and I get a ROI of -$15k. I suspect that's because its got the setting to N/A for all tournaments that are not processed? But like I said, PT3 never had a problem, and showed everything I wanted.
It also will not process my sessions and I thought it would do this for me, but whenever I go to see my sessions like today for instance, and it shows it some of the sit n go's but not all and with no results, although it processes the results in View stats. Again I have not touched any settings, and I have only played on 1 site since I upgraded to PT4 and that is OnGame.
Also, I can not move the stats while I am playing on screen, yes there nice and neat but regardless of the size of the screen I can not move them out of the way when I want to see the players cards when in an all in, and although I preferred seating which is bottom middle, I find it very hard to actually click any of my buttons check raise fold buttons because the live stats are unmoveable.

It seems i have just found the Unlock layout for the non movement problem, so ignore that.

How did you bring your data over? Did you use the PT3 conversion tool or did you reimport your hand histories manually?

Are you sure you haven't set any filters that might filter out those tournaments? If any of the text listed in the left hand sidebar is blue, that means it is filtering and you'll want to turn it off to see everything.

When I upgraded it gave me the option of transferring my PT3 database over to PT4 so clicked yes, and it then proceeded to import 500k hands.

No defo no filters, everything is default or all.

Those 1400 N/A tournaments are almost certainly your problem. Click the Edit Tournament Results button and sort by Description so that all of these are together. Click on the first, hold shift and click on the last one (you'll need to scroll to the bottom, just press and hold shift before clicking on the bottom one) and they'll all highlight. Then click the Auto Detect button and that should hopefully fix things for you.

It keeps crashing on me and then just freezes and I have to force close via the Start task Manager. Tried this 5 times now all with the same results.

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder.
