A version of pokertracker is already running

I have tried restarting and reinstalling and I still get 'a version of pokertracker is already running'. I had just removed my old postgres and then tried running the pokertracker installer. The pokertracker installer got to the reboot stage and now this. thoughts?

PostgreSQL doesn't have anything to do with this particular error message - this one only shows up if PokerTracker is already detected and loaded into memory.

Please create a support ticket and one of our technicians will help you get things sorted out.

I am getting the same error on my MAC...tried restarting and also re-installing. Does not work. Please help
