4.08 - All Databases deleted

Oh my god! I upgraded now to 4.08 and all my Databases are not existing anymore. What can i do now? I just downgraded to 4.07.6 and they come not back.
This sucks really! Plz help.

I am doing a rebuild now but it could be just a simple "Connect" that you have to do.

Go into Backup and then choose the option of databases of SELECT (?) from List (?) and it should display all of your databases?

That would mean that they are there but need to be connected.

I see the Databases, but they have no names anymore: look like PT4_2013_05_17....
Should i select them and klick "Backup Now"?

I thought this function is only for save the DB a 2nd time for backup?!

Think the problem only occurs if u have multiple Databases.
Didn't had this problem with just 1 DB but at least 2 members at pokerstratgy with more than 1 DB had the same problem.

You need just to Connect the missing DBs to PT4: Database->Database Management->New->Browse Databases->Select missing DB->Connect(->Set Active/Default->Refresh)

Yeah i was one of the posters at ps.com^^
My own DB works fine now, but i cant see any player in my mining db anymore. (purchased hands)

I understand that this can happen when your database names include unicode characters. PT4 has been updated to better handle names like these in general, but a side effect is that the currently saved names are lost - this is only PT4's link to the database, though.
The databases themselves should be unharmed, and you can re-connect to them using Database > Database Management. Click 'New' and then 'Browse Databases".

They should follow the same procedure. This appears to be due to the use of unicode characters in database names and we are working on a patch. Unfortunately anybody already affected must follow the above procedure as even once the patch is released, the old names will not be recoverable.
