NoteTracker & Strobe Poker

Postby MikeOkhrimenko » Sun May 19, 2013 4:04 pm

Hello!
I've been played strobe poker for several days and noticed NoteTracker wasn't active on this tables. There are no notes while playing, but when I opened the same hand in replayer everything is ok. Does NoteTracker support strobe poker? And if not, will it support this kind of poker in future?

There is no difference with Strobe poker and NoteTracker should work in the same way. Please note that hands do not finish immediately when you fast-fold, and cannot be imported into PT4 until after they complete. NoteTracker notes are not generated immediately on import - there is a separate thread running at a lower priority generating notes when PT4 isn't doing anything else so as to not interfere with the import, Hud, etc. For fast fold tables this may mean that notes aren't generated quite so quickly. If the notes are there in the Replayer later then things are working correctly.

Thank you. I understood what you said about. But let me show the problem in pictures :)

This picture is from replayer. And you can see that NoteTracker works properly. We have 10 notes for our opponent.

This is the printscreen of the same hand. As you can see NoteTracker icon looks like there is no any notes for the opponent. It isn't outlined yellow. And when I click on it or move mouse above there is no any notes again.

4.3k hands - there is no number of hands of my one session. For example, I saw notes for my opponent in replayer yesterday, but today I don't see any notes for that opponent while playing session

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder. That should show us why the notes aren't popping up on that particualar opponent. I presume if you click on the note editor it shows as blank for the opponent also?

Yes. you're right. If I click on the note editor it shows as blank for the opponent. And it shows as blank for all opponents in strobe poker

If you take a note on a player while playing at Strobe do you see that the next time he pops up?

Ok, please also include that information in your ticket. Something is definitely going wrong here but we need those logs to figure out exactly what that is.
