Database connexion problems after update

Hi

A fellow of pokerstrategy.fr has the following error message after the update of yesterday:

What can he do to connect?

The PT4 update doesn't affect PostgreSQL at all. If you haven't already please try a reboot first as that will often get PostgreSQL working again.

Click Start and type services.msc and open the Services window.
Is PostgreSQL in the list?
Is it started?
Can you start it?

What version of PostgreSQL do you have?

hello

I'm the one with the problem .

postgres is not in the list of services . my version of postgres is 8.4

In that case you will need to reinstall PostgreSQL as described in this guide.

after uninstall of postgres will I lose data?

I own a backup 2 days . is that enough?

If you follow the guide you will not lose your existing databases.
