Explain Tournament EFF BB stacks

Postby dadaas » Fri Jun 28, 2013 6:34 pm

Hi, i find some of this notes useless or i m not reading them good.

Let say i have a note that a guy push some range with effective stack between 3 and 20.

So is this note useless?
With 3 BB he is not making any mistake by pushing any 2. So why do i need this note?
Why is there no note push with 10-15BB, and lower than 10 or some specific situations that make sense.

Please explain if i m reading this wrong. I play 18 MAN and mostly this notes are useless...

We sat down with Shaun Deeb and in his expert tournament opinion, these ranges were the best ranges to be looking at to determine a player's tendencies.

Ok but can i modifie this and is there any tutorial to help me?
EFF stack between 3 and 20 is nonsense. This range will contain 75-100% range. So i would like to ask what use do i have from this note?
Saying that player opens between 3 and 20 blinds 75-100% range.
I mean i dont need a note for that i know they are capable of opening any 2 with 3 BB and with 20BB they be tighter so what use is this note then?

Same thing can be said for 5-15 ...

Problem in this game is between 5-9BB 10-13BB 14-16BB and 17bb+

If we have this notes i think game would be easier for us.

Please help me to create this stats.

Those ranges cannot be modified you can only choose values from the drop down to match. You can create NoteTracker notes for specific ranges and you can modify the ranges in the notes that do exist though. In Tools -> NoteTracker you just need to change the Name, Description text and in the Player filter remove the Effective Stack Size filter and then add in a new one to match the range you'd prefer to use.

Good morning Kraada, thanks for all your input... I really appreciate it.

Can you tell me if this looks good?

Wanted to make a filter that notes card range of a 10BB shove or less, I plan to make 11-20, 21-30, etc. All the way to 91-100.

You need to be a bit more specific - you could technically minraise, face a min3bet and 4bet shove and that would match the filters as you have them. Add a filter for Not(Second Action Any Action) in A&O -> Preflop -> Action Sequence and then you'll be good (because if you raised all in and only made one action preflop it had to be the shove).
